Tours are a “walking” event where staff will take you around the North Texas State Hospital campus in Vernon, Texas.  You will want to dress casually and wear walking shoes.  Please do not wear excessive jewelry.  Bottled water will be provided.  The tours are worth 4 hours of continuing education. A mask and shield will be required during all tours. Physical tours of the campus could be altered or canceled, depending on circumstances at the time of the conference.

*Conference Networking Event: This evening CEU opportunity will be held at The Venue and sponsored by the Vernon Volunteer Services Council of NTSH.  Attendees will learn about the “Overview of Music Therapy Treatment Strategies in Forensic Mental Health”, as well as, engage in an immersive experience with instrumental improvisation of musical expression. There will be hors d’oeuvres and a drink station for attendees to bring their favorite bottle of wine or spirit, if desired. Water and Tea will be provided. This is a learning event, so please arrive promptly.
